Introducing Leading Asian Contemporary Designer
MZI Global is strategically consulting the launch of a leading Asian contemporary designer of mix-and-match pieces to the U.S. market. This contemporary designer collection, already a hit in Asian markets, is being introduced into the American market. MZI Global conducted extensive, thorough research of the current economic conditions in the U.S. and its relationship to the fashion industry through primary and secondary research. By positioning the collection as “classics with a twist”, the pieces are ideal for the harsh economy as consumers seek to invest in pieces that are able to last through countless fashion cycles.
MZI Global also compiled press and marketing tools for the fashion label for better adjustment to the American market. Consulting for the emerging brand included strategic roadmaps, pricing strategies, proper distribution strategies, and branding strategies for successful entrance into the U.S.
The collection is a compilation of European inspired design elements along with the use of high quality fabric combinations in a muted color palette. The simple yet subtly unique pieces offer consumers the versatility and sophistication not easily obtained. "The designs are different but amazingly wearable," says Larissa Van Duser, fashion consultant. "Each piece has its own quiet tranquility that bridges the gap between femininity and everyday casual wear."
